This radial stepped bearing is of the highest quality, specifically designed for the high-performance technical maintenance of the Planmeca NOMA and SONEA turbines, as part of the premium quality Myonic branded range of parts. This PAI (Torlon) caged ceramic bearing has the highest quality ceramic balls, which are known to have the highest hardness, reduced centrifugal forces, and the lowest heat generation, as opposed to the more common steel balls that are utilized in the construction of these types of bearings. The stepped nature of this particular bearing ensures that the axial positioning is as accurate as possible, which is critical to the operation of the rotor of the Planmeca instrumentation, thereby extending the overall life of the rotor during the high-speed operation of the turbines.
