This is a professional-grade angular stepped bearing, part of the Myonic quality line of bearing components, and has been specially designed for the high-performance technical maintenance of Sirona brand turbines, including the T1 TITAN and 4000SL series. The bearing has a specialized PAI (Torlon) cage, ceramic balls for precise movement, and an Integral Shield for the most demanding conditions, including the handling of both radial and axial loads in the most extreme conditions of rotational speed, with the utmost protection against debris and lubricant washout. The stepped design ensures precise axial location and stability within the turbine housing, which is critical for the accurate rotational performance of the turbine rotor in the early model T1 Control units and Titan series handpieces. The Myonic bearing has also been built to withstand the most demanding conditions of hygiene within the modern dental clinic, remaining completely corrosion resistant and mechanically sound through repeated cycles of sterilization within the vacuum autoclave environment up to 135°C.
